"But ask now the beasts ..."

What are we supposed to ask the beasts?
What are they to tell us?
Well, here's the Scripture from Job 12:7-10:
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."
Sounds to me like God wants us to know that HE made the
beasts, fowls, the earth, and the fish so we will say,
"WOW, GOD"
or say something maybe like "Thank you" or "How did you do that?" or maybe "You are tremendous," or "Hey, you made ME too?," or "Man, I'd like get to know this guy," or "Can I be yours?" or "You sure are amazing!"
What DOES the Bible have to say about animals?
Do they have a soul?
How about a spirit?
Where do they go after they die?
Scripture doesn't give us all the facts about animals,
but I was surprised by how much it does have to say.

takes a look at the world of animals in light of Scripture. There's
LOTS of dogs, horses, sheep, butterflies, and fish; some cows and
birds and mountains, a couple of praying mantises,
and at least one cat ...
We will even go to Israel, where some horses have an
important part in a major future event!
